How Colin Morgan Advises in Getting Your First 100 Customers
I’ve learnt that people don’t really care about what we do; it’s more along the lines of why we do it, who we are and what we stand for. It’s also about how we can help YOU, as opposed to just helping someone. If we can convey that through our marketing and phone conversations; if you can make someone believe that what you have is what they ultimately want, you can easily convert. For businesses, this primarily refers to content – the more of it you can put out, the more people can understand what you’re doing, then out of curiosity, can look into getting in touch via a phone call or so. From then, it can snowball and lead to a customer.
Colin Morgan’s Dream
You know, I spend quite a bit of time in the morning thinking about this. It all boils down to opportunity; I see it correlating with freedom. The more opportunities that I have, the more freedom I have. It’s like: I have opportunities to grow my network, meet new people, vacation and invest in businesses that I want to. I would love to have it to the point of not having to go to work, simply because I don’t want to, or not attending a specific meeting for fear of losing business with a client. That right there is the dream.
Some Pieces of Advice From Colin Morgan
Number one would be to seek guidance; find people who have done what you’re doing, or are successful in something. Reach out and ask for help. A step further could be to invest in yourself by paying them to help you with this. Another piece of advice could be a daily review of your business – this could be through having data that you could go over, such as amount of customers per day. This could be shared with others on your team; if you can involve your staff and customers, it can only serve to help you. Another piece of advice would be to run surveys in order to get some feedback in what you’re doing. It could also provide an incentive to your target. Lastly, self-reflection. Spend time on yourself and reflect in order to improve, otherwise you can’t improve your output and other aspects.
